Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to do anything for my customer to receive the eSIM?
No. The eSIM is managed directly from the Intermundial app, so there is no need for the agent to intervene. The customer simply downloads the app, where the eSIM is available along with instructions. The process is fast, intuitive and requires no additional support from your business.
What happens if I consume the 100 MB included?
Once the 100 MB have been consumed, the customer will no longer have a connection, but no additional charges will be applied automatically. They will receive a notification informing them that they have reached the limit and, if they wish, they can extend the tariff by contracting more data. In no case is an automatic renewal triggered or costs generated without express confirmation.
When should the eSIM be activated?
The customer must install the eSIM before traveling, following the instructions provided through the Intermundial App and by email. Once at their destination, they will only need to activate it and set it up as their main data line.It is important that you deactivate mobile data and roaming on your physical SIM to avoid additional charges.
What happens if my customer does not use the eSIM?
If the customer does not activate the eSIM from the app, it simply expires at the end of the insurance period. If he/she obtains it but does not use it, he/she has a maximum period of 180 days after downloading it to activate it. In both cases, no charge is generated nor does it imply additional management by the agency.
What if my customer has a problem with this service?
In case of doubt or incident, the customer has a direct service channel from the provider. In the activation email or from the app, they will find a link or contact (email/WhatsApp) to solve any problem related to the service, so from your business you will not have to manage any incident related to the eSIM.
